The Czech wording of this document is the binding one. This English translation is provided for understanding only.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the website stores in your browser. Browser storage (local storage and session storage) works in a similar way. They help the website remember that you are logged in, which language you have selected, or — with your consent — measure traffic and advertising effectiveness.

Cookies on the website www.daklbenefits.cz are used by its operator, the company Dakl benefits, s.r.o., Company ID 19707118, with its registered office at Dolní náměstí 384, 250 70 Odolena Voda (hereinafter referred to as “we”), and with your consent also by Google.

2. How you manage cookies

  • We always store necessary cookies — without them, the website does not function (login, security, language selection). We do not need consent for their use pursuant to Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications.
  • We store analytical and marketing cookies only with your consent, which you give in the cookies bar upon your first visit. You can accept all, refuse all, or choose individual categories. Refusal is just as easy as acceptance and does not affect whether you can use the website.
  • Until you give consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads tools will not load and no cookies from them will be stored.
  • You may change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the website footer. We remember your choice for 12 months, after which we will ask you again.
  • You may also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; however, blocking necessary cookies will prevent login.

3. Necessary cookies

  • better-auth.session_token (on a secure connection with the prefix __Secure-) — keeps you logged in. Valid for 30 days, extended while in use; deleted upon logout.
  • better-auth.session_data (on a secure connection with the prefix __Secure-) — short-term login cache that speeds up page loading. Valid for 5 minutes.
  • better-auth.two_factor (on a secure connection with the prefix __Secure-) — ongoing two-factor authentication during login. Valid for 10 minutes.
  • dakl_impersonation_return — only for the operator’s support staff: return to your own account after viewing a user account while resolving a request. Valid until the end of the session.
  • i18n_redirected — selected website language (Czech or English). Valid for 1 year.
  • dakl_ref — code of the sales representative whose referral link brought you to the website, so that the company registration can be assigned to the correct representative and the code can be prefilled in the registration. Contains only the representative’s code and the time of arrival. Valid for 90 days.
  • dakl_consent — your choice in the cookies bar. Valid for 12 months.

Protection of the registration and login forms against robots is provided by the Cloudflare Turnstile service. It does not store any cookies; for its evaluation it processes technical data about the browser and device.

4. Browser storage

  • dakl-color-mode (local storage) — selected light or dark appearance of the application. Until deleted.
  • dakl-cookie-notice (local storage) — that you closed the information bar. Until deleted.
  • dakl-open-in-app-dismissed and dakl.planGate.* (session storage) — that you closed the in-app notice. Until the browser is closed.

Data in browser storage remain on your device and we do not send them to the server.

The Google Analytics 4 tool of Google Ireland Limited shows us how visitors use the website (which pages they read, where they come from, where they leave). We see the results only in aggregate form. Google Analytics 4 does not store or record IP addresses.

  • _ga — distinguishes individual visitors. Valid for 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID> — maintains the visit state. Valid for 2 years.

The Google Ads tool of Google Ireland Limited allows us to measure whether a visitor came from our advertisement and completed, for example, an inquiry or registration, and to show our advertising to people who have already visited our website (remarketing).

  • _gcl_au — measurement of conversions from ads. Valid for 90 days.
  • _gcl_aw and _gcl_gb — information about an ad click. Valid for 90 days.
  • IDE (doubleclick.net domain) — advertising display and measurement, remarketing. Valid for 13 months.
  • test_cookie (doubleclick.net domain) — verification whether the browser supports cookies. Valid for 15 minutes.

Google may also store other cookies on its domains according to its policies. The list may change as Google services develop; an up-to-date overview can be found on the page How Google uses cookies.

Consent to marketing cookies also includes consent for Google to use the data for ad personalization. We use Google Consent Mode (Consent Mode v2), which passes your choice on to Google.

7. Transfer of data and Google

Google processes the data from analytical and marketing cookies as an independent controller or as our processor under its terms. The data may be transferred to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. How Google processes the data is described on the page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

8. Further information

More information on how we process personal data and what rights you have can be found in the document Personal Data Processing Policy. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
